Claire was very kind. She had called to tell me they had a great new quote for me (orig $1095). I could SWEAR she said $895. I called her back to ask questions, but she was on maternity leave and I got Jeff instead. Here's our conversation:

Me: What quote do you see for me? Claire called to tell me it was now $895.
Jeff: No way, there's no way we can do it for that price.
Me: Really, I could swear she said $895. I must have gotten that wrong, but I know it was under $1000 when she called.
Jeff: No. There's no way. The drivers set the price...(blah blah blah)
Me: OK, well I got a quote from another company at $1045...
Jeff: Well why don't you go with them, I can tell you'll be a pain in the ass!
Me: Yeah, I probably would.

Isn't that hysterical! I was LOL when I hung up.
I didn't even get to ask the questions I called about! Definitely would NOT use this company, and sounds like others have been treated rudely too. It must be nice for them not to need the business in this economy.
Jeff, thanks for making my choice of car transportation companies easier for me!
