During a call I made to Stateway auto transport on a Quote I got Via e-mail, I was told that my car that I have put over $15,000 into after it was was paid off, it would be picked up on time and there would be no problems. I was also told that I should get a phone call and email from the driver and Stateway Auto and let me know when the car will be picked up and when it should be dropped off. I paid a extra $150 for it to be picked up and delivered within 3 days. The day before I wanted my car to be picked up I was concerned since I didn't not receive a email or phone call. I called Stateway Auto and they said it should be good, they seen the dispatch notice to the driver. They said they would find out what the problem was. After a few they called back and told me the dispatcher had the wrong date for pickup and I asked for my refund of 150 for the 3 day pickup since I was not going to get that since the pickup would be 3 days later then promised. I was promised that I would get my refund and my car would be picked up. It was picked up on the 2nd date I was give and they told me the date it should be dropped off. after waiting and waiting I did not receive my refund and then I get a e-mail saying that I owe a extra 50 for when the car gets dropped off, they never told me that, and they knew from the time the car was picked up and they decide to email me the day before it was suppose to be dropped off. I contacted them and fought back and forth before I got that taken off and got my whole deposit back. When my car was suppose to be dropped off it wasn't. instead it was dropped off a few days late. I am in the military and used leave to be here when my car was to get dropped off and it created more of a problem then it was worth. When I did get my drivers name and number I called. He told me he started my car to let it idle, and my radiator hose blew up and to bring a replacement when I get my car. When I got there with my new hose my car was filthy but I paid him and headed out home. when I got on the highway my car would not go past 40 mph. on top of all of this Stateway Auto has been blowing up my phone and email for me to take my last review off since it was so bad. I told them I would when I got my refund. After I got my refund they still wanted me to take my review off but I told them no that I am going to write a review every week to ensure that no one gets screwed over like me. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau. I have been nothing but lied to this entire time. I have contacted other transport companies to see if all are like this and they told me how things really go, and I didn't just contact one I contacted 3 different ones with all they same answer. And lastly the driver also writes reviews about these companies and he said his wasn't going to be very nice either. Do not use this company if you care about your car, money or time. KEEP ALL YOUR E-MAILS, may be needed for law suit issues! The up side, if you write a bad review they pay you to take it off!!!!
