They take your money and run

I am new to shipping a car and put in for online quotes. Adrian, from SHowtime Auto Transport called me and gave a a good quote and I decided to go with this company. I asked him if I can load personal items in the vehicle, he said for an extra $50 this would be okay (turns out that its not and it is actually illegal).
I prepaid $125 to this company with the promise that the car be picked up August 18. To make a long story short, every time I called, there was either no answer, or it was: 'yeah, buddy, tomorrow tomorrow, I remise we will get this car to you in FLorida, buddy buddy buddy'.... The end of the story is that they don't know the first thing about car shipping with all the misinformation they give and no wonder that no driver picks up cars that are brokered through this dubious company! Remember, Showtime Autotransport is a broker, they don't own their trucks or drivers. They underquote you to get the business and then they take a deposit and thats the end of it. They take your money and don't deliver.
I then talked to the owner, Jonny (none of them have last names...?!) and he said they simply couldn't find a driver to pick up the car and that he would reimburse my $125.... again, he as blowing smoke and never delivered.
I ended up paying a friend, who could use the $$ and he drove the car to FL. It was actually way more cost effective than shipping it and I could have all my personal belongings in there.
Be aware of these liars at Showtime Autotransport! They sweet talk you into believing that they deliver, but its nothing but lies and BS. Spend a little more money and go with a reputable company who is educated and who treats you like a customer, and doesn't call you 'buddy'.
STAY AWAY FROM SHOWTIME AUTOTRANSPORT!!!!!
