ship a car direct is a broker. the actual carrier is a small company. they shipped the car fine and promptly. But first they are late for two days in picking up the car as promised. second, they need me give them ride to the truck both in the pick-up and dropping! The reason is that they said the truck is too big to go to residential places. I had to spend extra time and effort to get my car, which at the end turns to be frustrating. The biggest drawback for the carrier is that they only give 1 hour notice! yes, 1 hour. I had to drop work and rush to get the car.

Thank you for you feedback, Haijian! You bring up a really good point about timing: carriers provide estimates that can change with weather, traffic or other issues. So sorry your driver wasn't more proactive about updates - that drives us crazy too.
