Terrible communication and waste of time

I had a terrible experience working with Road Star to get my car from Maryland to California. There was minimal communication and my car was not picked up until 2 days after they told me it would be picked up. I called the morning of the supposed pickup and they confirmed that it would be that day. No one showed up and I didn't hear from them again until 2 days. So I took off 2 days of work for nothing. They told me it would be delivered 7-8 days after pickup but it wasn't delivered until 10 days later and, again, minimal communication from both Road Star, the 3rd party company they use, Eagle Auto Carriers, and the shipping company, Olympia Transportation. I thought I would be working with Marie from Road Star, but they outsourced my communication to Abbie with Eagle Auto Carriers who wasn't helpful either. I ended up having to call the actual transportation company, Olympia, myself to find out where my car was. There is no communication between the broker and transportation company. Road Star told me I could pay with Paypal upon delivery, but the owner of Olympia threatened me and said he wouldn't accept Paypal and would keep my car unless I brought the cash. I would not recommend giving your business to this company as they made the whole experience very stressful.
