One of the worst experiences of my life!

Nationwide Relocation Services and Cross Country Van Lines are two of the most horrible companies I have ever dealt with. Nationwide is the broker who contracts with Cross Country Van Lines - conveniently throughout our entire ordeal they continued to blame each other for the problems.

They picked up our items on March 14th in Philadelphia and gave us a TEN day window - delivery BY March 29th at the very latest! It is now March 26th - our belongings are not scheduled to arrive for AT LEAST another week.

Our sales Representative was Eric Snyder who called us incessantly throughout the sales process - to the point of annoyance and I told him a few times to stop calling us. He called our home, cell and work phones. Conveniently - Eric is "no longer with the company" now that we need someone who WILL contact us.

Throughout our drive West we heard from Nationwide maybe once or twice. All communication has been us calling THEM. HORRIBLE customer service! I was hung up on and spoke to a different person every time I have called.

I finally started calling Cross Country Van Lines - who at least listened to our complaints and then told me that I needed to file a complain with Nationwide. Every conversation we have had with them; we have been told a different story and not ONE of them have been correct. Now that the movers are schedule to arrive AT LEAST A WEEK OVER THE CONTRACTED DATE - they tell us that we can only file a complaint after we receive our belongings and pay the drivers. If we don't pay the drivers - they don't give us our belongings.

We are paying close to $3,000 for a service that is NOT being provided. Both companies are in violation of their contract and are doing nothing to compensate us for living out of a hotel, spending countless hours on the phone with them, paying for an apartment that we can't live in, and being forced to eat out every night.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT USE NATIONWIDE RELOCATION SERVICES AND DO NOT USE CROSS COUNTRY VAN LINES. I welcome any type of response from either of these companies as they have completely slammed the door in our face.
