The person who did my initial order was not Stephanie; this person did not tell me that the original price she quoted me about a month before my move could possibly change. It went up by $150 the week that I had to ship my car; I was stuck at that point and could do nothing but pay the extra money b/c I needed my car. However, it seems to be the industry standard to be less than honest when selling; once you are stuck, they tell you the real deal. I also felt that the communication was less than stellar. I had to call a number of times to be updated on the status of my car and did not receive the order confirmation by email with the final price I had to pay upon delivery until I called and requested it. My mom, who is also shipping her car, had better customer service, it seems, with the same contact person, Stephanie.

I hope to never have to use such a service again- this was a complex move with more than one stop, so I didn't really have a choice. However, if I do have to use such a company again, I would probably use Magic Carpet, but just be prepared to put out a lot more money than they originally quote.

Emily~ I am sorry that you didnt feel you recieved a five star service from our company. However, i am also sorry that when you placed the order that it was not mentioned to you what could happen if placing order far in advance and being closer to summer that the rates fluctuate from month to month. we have currently had a talk with the representative that had assisted you the day of placing your order about what needs to be clear when placing order in advance. Also, I wanted to thank you for recommending your mother to our company as well. I am glad i have the chance to work with her from start to finish, and also glad to hear that she feels everything is working great for her. I hope to hear from you again for another auto transport, feel free to just ask for me and if i am not available at that time i can reach you right back. Thank you Emily.
