pick-up and delivery times

Our contact person was available and returned our calls promptly.
However, we were told the car would be picked up on the 22nd and delivered on the 23rd of Feb. On 22nd evening we received a call that due to a delinquent driver the car was not picked up at all. Later on we were told that the car could be picked up and delivered on the 25th for a $100 more than the agreed upon price, because it would be transported in an ENCLOSED carrier. We agreed to this but the car was delivered on the 26th instead, and was on an OPEN carrier, so we feel that the extra charge was not fair .

Ramana, I apologize about the pick up and delivery times. I had no control over the original carrier's truck breaking down and that is why we hustled to find another carrier that would agree to pick it up right away, but in order for them to do go out of their way to accomodate you and the dealer, he requested an additional $100 to perform an expedited service. You were paying the additional money for the expedited service, not the enclosed carrier. I asked you if you wanted to pay the extra money to get it picked up with this new carrier and you agreed. I apologize for any misunderstanding, and the delays, but there is only so much that I can control.
