I have to say that because of the experience during the pick-up I was shocked at the way the delivery was handled.
My vehicle was was being taken to my sister because I will be overseas for 2 years. Contact was made the day prior to the estimated delivery.
When my sister received the her phone call they were about 1 hour away and was told that she needed to meet them at a truck stop and not at her house (which was what was expected). She scrambled to get someone to take her to the truck stop.
Her street straight.... not curved, or in a cup-de-sac, so I'm unsure why they couldn't meet her closer to her house. It was no issue for the pick-up...
Here is HER review of the event: The driver said he would call me when he arrived. At 1230 I called the number that had called me .... I was told that the driver should be contacting me shortly. I explained to the gentleman that I had to know since I needed to make my arrangements and pick up the person who was driving with me to get my car back home (because I was told the vehicle was being delivered to my house, therefore I never thought I needed assistance).
I waited almost two hours since the first phone call. I decided to just leave my house to get to where I needed to go to drop off/pick up person who was helping me.
A few minutes later I got a call from the driver and he stated to me that he was now at a church lot and I could come get the car. I told him I'd be there in 10 minutes.
When I arrived he immediately stated to me that "he had been waiting for at least a half hour and I told him I was only going to be 10 minutes.
I asked to do a inspection of my sisters truck, but the driver was very unwilling to assist me in that process.
When I handed him the envelope with the money he ripped it open and threw the envelope on the ground. I feel that his customer service was lacking, and it was a mere inconvenience for him to drive the vehicle to my house and he was ruches to get to his next stop.
