I am confident Duo Fast Transport will try to deny and refute this bad review. They lie to customers, so why would they be different to a complaint? But this review is for future consumers, not Duo Fast transport. I am sure they know everything I am going to tell you and they have yet to shut down their misrepresentation practices or fire lying salespeople. There are other bad reviews on Alex Smith and Duo Fast Transport and they just deny or say the reviewer has the wrong company.

Duo Fast Transport, Inc. Was one of 7 companies who responded to my online request for quote to move a small car from Mississippi to Texas. I spoke to several and everyone said they had drivers right now who could pick up my car. I decided to engage Duo Fast after Alex Smith informed me they could pick up my car on Thursday morning and deliver it to me the next day, on Friday. He was also low bid at an original quote of $400. Later Alex called and said if it would be a very late night delivery and if I wanted a morning delivery it would be another $150 to the driver. I told him no and he asked what I would pay. I said not more than $50, and he immediately said ok.

I informed Alex Smith that I had to have this car Friday morning. It was a condition of the transaction, as was the price. He said no problems, that he had the driver and he guaranteed delivery. I must of asked him a dozen times to confirm the Thursday pickup and Friday delivery. He promised me every time.

On Thursday morning I called to confirm the pickup. A lady answered the phone and said Alex was on the phone now with a driver trying to negotiate the pickup for my car. A driver had not even accepted their job yet. Alex would not take my calls all morning and then at noon, they said he went to lunch. At 1 pm I caught him on the phone and relayed the discussion with the lady earlier and went through this long, detailed accounting of where the driver was at that very moment. He even said the driver was on the other line, to hold on. 5 minutes later he came back on and said the driver was in a city right now, 3 hours away from my car. The detailed explanation only confirms the depth of the corruptness and skills at lying to consumers...he was so confident and slick with his story. He has done this before. He actually told me he was very sorry for the confusion but not to worry, the driver would be there.

To make a long story short, I spoke with several other companies who looked up my car and told me not a single driver had taken the job yet. Further, later Thursday night I spoke to a senior sales person who told me Alex Smith had never found a driver for the price he quoted me. He admitted that this industry operates like this and that the only way to get business is to low bid and then raise the price on the buyer. He said in his business with bids, the high bid is the low price and the low bid is the highest price. In other words, the low bidders are cheats.

My complaint....and more important, my warning to anyone needing a car transport company is that these broker companies have no drivers and have no idea what a driver will charge to pick up a car when they are bidding on a job. They all low bid you and only after you accept their offer and sign their contract do they actually tell you the price is now much higher. And that is actually the better of two evils. The worst part and what Duo Fast Transport did to me, is they string you out for days and lie, lie, lie with great skill knowing you know no better. They do this while they keep posting your car hoping some truck has an empty space he needs to fill and will throw a deal at them.

I told Alex Smith and Duo Fast Transport several times to just tell me the truth, even if the truth was bad. I told Alex that being honest is what a professional does. Each time he continued the lies, stating the driver was still trying to get there, knowing full well he did not even have a driver.

This industry needs oversight and regulation more than any I have ever seen. I have run large Fortune 200 companies and know something about service. I have never seen anything close to the persuasiveness of this problem, with Duo Fast Transport taking top honors for cheating and lying and their lying champion Alex Smith will one day answer for his actions to others. I don't know how he can live with himself. If I had to lie to get jobs, I would quit and starve first.

Beware of Duo Fast Transport. You have been warned. They will cheat you and lie to you. And it appears so will many in this industry, so beware with every company who low balls you.
