I have had a very bad experience with this company and would most definitely not use them again. The gave me a quote of $750 in writing and we first set a pick-up date of Tuesday, April 10. They told me I would receive a phone call 24 hours in advance of pick-up, but that it should take place with a window of just two or three days. I called on Wednesday to check-in and the lady told me I would likely get a call later in the day for pick-up on Thursday. When I heard nothing by Friday, I called again and spoke to George who told me all the carriers were backed up, but were all back in California now and we would likely be hearing from someone on Saturday for a Monday pick-up. When I heard nothing by Monday afternoon, I called again and spoke to Robert Grey in dispatch who told me that he had a message from a driver who would be willing to do the job for $800 - that means $800 to the driver on top of the $100 already paid, so now the job would be $900. Robert informed me that no one would want to do that route for less than $800 (i.e. $900 total with the $100 deposit). I questioned why we were given a qoute of $750. He said those quotes are computer generated and really mean nothing. Robert also told me the delivery would probably take 10 days from time of pick up, and I had previously been qouted a time frame of 5 to 7 days. This is definitely a case of bait and switch, where they gave us one price to attract our business, but had no intention of honoring it. If I'm going to pay $900, I will go with a company that quoted me $900 to begin with. This is bullshit.
