I first shipped a car last year to my daughter in college in New Orleans and didn't understand how the process worked. I filled out a form on the internet, got dozens of emails and phone calls from brokers interested in shipping the car and stupidly took the low bid based on his reassurances that my car would get there soon. Of course, his price wasn't competitive and my car sat for weeks without anyone interested in shipping it. This year I was shipping the car again and chose Jeff because he sent me an email fully explaining how this business works, why you shouldn't just take the low bid, and what my expectations should be. He provided me with his work, cell and home phone numbers and always either answered his phone or called me right back - last year the other broker I used was difficult to reach and evasive and I hated that. My car moved within a week and I plan to use Jeff, who is honest and professional, again next fall when I ship the car again.
