In November I purchased an autiomobile from Critz BMW/Buick in Savanagh Georgia. They reccomended Cross Country because they were told that this company was the direct carrier of the Auto and would not be bouncing my auto around. After my dealings with Cross Country and the review here I certainly believe they lied to them also. When I got the contract faxed by Tiffany on 11/8/05 I saw2 that they were just a broker. I called the dealer to tell them this and that I would not proceed with purchase, Lea Christmass at Critz was also surprised and called Cross Country and spoke to Gill., He assured both myself and her that they would be carrying my auto and itn just said that because they on occasion have to broker to another carrier when shipping to Alaska or hAWAII. Three days latter my auto was picked up by Auto Transport Solutions and delivered with $2100 in damage of which I am still trying to collect $1000. Cross Country ran and hid at this point and was of no asistance with getting my money. They are governed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services phone 850-410-3685. I filled a comp-laint with them in December and received a response that " The buisness refussed to cooperate" , surprise !. I also filed a complaint with the Federal Motor Carrier Safty Administration 888-368-7238 on Dec 12t6h. Both of these agencies have no real power but do keep a file on the complaints and I suggest you all take the time , it can be done on line. This is a boiler room type operation and will also tell Mover Reviews that you were not a customer to get it removed , you may even see reviews from there own employees on here ( Only good ones) . You can take these people to small claims court in your state and they need to have an agent for service in that state that you can serve and the info can be gotten from the above agencies. Dont leave them alone and file the complaint. Also see Auto Transport Solutions review .
