I told Carmoza I would have two items in the car that did not weigh over 50lbs each, or could be seen from outside. I was told that was "fine". Shipper picked up car, it arrived with only one of the 2 items. Both shipper and Carmoza offered no help/explanation/advice, and although Steve seemed sincere in his apology, it was a "there is nothing we can do, not our problem" type. There isn't anything he could do, but Carmoza should never allow Flash Transportation, specifically Marcello/George to do any business with them. They are dishonest, rude, and I wouldn't want anyones valuables to be in their possession. Really disappointed.

We strongly discourage customers from putting personal items in their vehicles during shipment since cargo insurance policies do not cover personal items and carrier/driver policies differ widely with respect to what they allow. This admonition is clearly stated both on our website (http://www.carmoza.com/our-approach/transport-tips) and well as in written information that is provided to every customer prior to shipment. Although we understand and our empathic with this customer, we cannot offer any assistance in this matter because it was out of our control. Can I transport any personal items in my vehicle? This practice is strongly discouraged. Auto transport companies must abide by Federal laws and aren’t licensed to transport household goods. Additional items may shift during transit, damaging your vehicle’s interior. Additional contents may also block the driver’s view when loading or unloading your vehicle. Any personal items left in your vehicle are solely your responsibility. Damage or loss of any kind for any reason is solely on you. Personal items are not covered by the auto shipper’s insurance policy. If your vehicle is being transported by ship, restrictions on personal items are much stronger and no items may be left in the vehicle, not even in the trunk. Again, we strongly discourage the practice of putting personal items the trunk or inside the vehicle, this would be at your own risk and you may subject to additional carrier fees.
