I had reservations about using this carrier and although the car was delivered on time i will not be using this carrier again. I knew they were going to broker it out but i didn't know that the second carrier was again going to broker it out to a 3rd party. I called the contact number of the carrier given to me by Blue star the day after the scheduled pick up only to be told the car had been picked up on the previous day. Interesting since the 3rd party carrier said he picked it up 2 days later. When i called Blue Star they seemed not to know anything about the 3rd party carrier as they kept talking about the carrier they hired and how he said delivery would occur on such and such day. I asked for 8 hours notice prior to delivery so i could be home and prepared. I got 15 minutes notice.

In the event that a load has been assigned to a carrier for pick up and that carrier is delayed in reaching the pick up location, a third party local flat bed towing company may be hired by the carrier to make the pick up on their behalf and store the vehicle until the carrier arrives. This is simply done as a courtesy to avoid a delay on behalf of the customer.
