I recently shipped a car with Auto Shippers America and it was not a good experience. My original contract was with Auto Shippers America, but they hired a third party named Autolog to tranport the car. So the damage to my car occured while Autolog shipped the car, but I hired Auto Shippers America and they hired Autolog. I have about $5000 worth of damage to my vehicle. I brought the car to a local body shop and the damage was $3200. This is not including the stolen merchandise. Damage to the caar included a bent control arm, stolen rearview mirror, a broken front bumper skin, and torn seats. My navigtion system was stolen along with CD's that were in the CD player. So someone with the keys had to steal them. I can e-mail anyone a written estimate from the body shop upon request. It was a horrible experience. Also, factory wiring that controlled lights and my convertible top was cut. Just to repeat: I hired Auto Shippers America and they hired Autolog to ship my car. The damage occured while Autolog was shipping it, but I never hired Autolog.
