I chose All America based on the great reviews and price quote of 600 dollars to move my car from Houston to San Francisco. I sent in my order via fax with payment on 5/21 for a pick up on 5/28. I was told that they would find a hauler to move my car within 1-4 days. My car was not picked up until 6/4 (7 days later). Each day passed 5/28 I called Kurt to ask if they found a trucker he was consistently rude and uncaring. Every time I called he asked for an additional 50 dollars to provide more incentive for a trucker to come pick up my car, I ended up to give an additional 100 dollars based on his recommendation but this did not speed up the process. I later learned that they lowball the quote to sucker you in and then ask for more money later. Finally after a very heated discussion on 6/3 with Kurt a trucker called me to pick up my car. He said he would be there that evening but did not come for another 24hrs causing me much stress. Along the process Kurt was not helpful, he mentioned they were a brokerage company and take 150-200 dollars for their service, I did not see any service except frustrating me. When asked to speak with his supervisor he said I am the supervisor I've been working here since I was born. My advice is do not waste your time with this company choose a local company with an office you can visit if possible to avoid this pathetic and dishonest service.

In response, I would point out that we quoted this customer a price that was at the current market rate to pay truckers leaving Texas to San Francisco. As we move into summer carriers occasionally get backed up. Since this customer needed this expedited, I did suggest that they pay more so that we could post this to truckers at a higher price to expedite pick up. We usually do not have to up prices, but this was an exception. We do strive to quote our prices as such that cars will move quickly with reliable carriers. For the record, once I posted this out to carriers above the market rate that we pay to carrier's, we had a truck scheduled. This customer also had a stipulation that this had to be delivered after 6/4. I can honestly say that I was not rude to either James or his Mom. I actually had a very good conversation with their Real Estate agent to help them understand the situation since there was a bit of a language barrier. We always strive to be completely honest and straight forward in our dealings with customers. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Kurt
