no pickup

Broker promised a pickup on December 26 or 27. When I called on Dec. 26, I was assured pickup would be early afternoon on Dec. 27. No pickup. When I tried to contact the broker by phone and email late on the 27th and early on the 28th to find out what had happened, I got no reply. I see now I should have consulted transport reviews first, because Affinity has many negative reviews. I also see that it is rated F by Better Business Bureau. I made the mistake of not checking out Affinity beforehand, and also made the mistake of giving them a $200 deposit by credit card, which I hope to get back. I suspect this broker is a fraud and never really had scheduled a carrier for me.
