READ THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU USE SGT AUTO !!!!!!!!!
SGT Auto is not a trucking co. They are a broker that will farm out the job to who ever they feel is qualified. They take not responsibility if anything happen to your vehicle. With that said , here is what happened to me.
= My Car to be transported is a 1997 Lamborghini Diablo with 5spd =
SGT Auto farmed out my car to UNO Auto Transport LLC , 137 Golden Isles Dr. Hallandale, FL , which they thought was qualified for my car . Driver brought my car from Ohio to Florida. My Lamborghini was up on the up level of the enclosed car hauler. I (the owner ) of the car was not allowed to touch or help until car was completely off they truck. Was told if I did , car insurance will not cover car if any accident happens to car. Delivery truck driver got in my car and started it. After 10 minutes and hearing several grinding noises coming from my car. Driver gets out a said he cant get the car in reverse. OH Hell NO!!! Most manual cars have a safty feature way of putting a car in reverse, so you don't do it while driving forward. My Lamborghini simple push down and then up to reverse the driver could not figure out. ???? Now after I told the delivery driver that and make sure the emergency brake is off several times. He got in car put it in reverse and struggled getting my car off the truck. Stalling it , restarting it over 15 times, and something was not right. After another 10 minutes my car is on the ground, my car has now has heavy smoke coming out of the engine bay. I run over to tell driver to shut off car, something is on fire. After I did a review, the delivery driver thought he had the emergency brake off and proceeded to drive car with brakes on and burnt the clutch enough to catch it on fire. I (the owner of car) get in the car and take the emergency hand brake off and drive car easily rolling in my drive way. Damage is done and delivery driver clams he did nothing wrong and it just the car. The car now smells of fire damage and delivery driver demands his money or he is taking the car back. Now ... one week later. Im still trying to get a hold of the insurance co that UNO Transport LLC had for my car coverage for transporting. I have nothing but a burnt car trans and what to seem to be a not insured trucking co.
ALSO, I ( the owner ) took video of the hole thing, what the deliver driver did. Thank God!!! So I ask you , DO YOU THINK THEY WERE QUALIFIED AND WOULD YOU USE EITHER COMPANY? HELL NO !!!!!
