I am an Import Broker. We occasionally have customers import cars from foreign countries into the United States. The customer almost always asks for us to help arrange delivery of their vehicle. In the past I have tried using "online broker" and had horrible results. It amazes me that someone can just throw up a website and call themselves a service provider. All they do it put your car on an online post and carriers do a reverse auction to compete for the business. That means that any tom dick and harry with a trailer can be "carrier" and accept your load.
United Road was a breath of fresh air. Karen Muzarek contacted me, was extremely professional, and very prompt in all of her correspondences. The import process is unique and creates an added level of difficulty to these type loads. You have to arrange for transportation before the car actually arrives the US, but without knowing when the car will be cleared through customs and available for pickup. The car arrived on a Monday, cleared on a Friday, picked up on Tuesday and Delivered on Wednesday. Could not be more happy with the way that this went and will definitely look to use United Road for all future moves.
