I originally was quoted and signed a contract for $700 shipping out that day. I was under the impression that the agent could get my car shipped for that price as when I asked him up front he said “yes”. I quickly learned that the rates depend on the market and that getting my vehicle shipped for that amount was not possible. The agent kept coming back to me stating higher rates for shipping. Hundreds of dollars more. I kept requesting him to search for someone that could do it at the rate we agreed upon. After almost a week, I raised my contracted amount to $900 and he was able to get a transporter. He also cut his fee in half due to the time it took to get it set up. I was pleased with the end result but I just wish I would have been told more about the process up front and not guaranteed it would ship or that they could ship it at that rate.
