Planned to have an old Eagle Summit wagon (good condition) transported to son currently in Galveston, TX. Have never done this before and believed it would be difficult to arrange for all this. After checking on-line for companies that might do this sort of thing and reading reviews submitted by people who had sent vehicles I decided on Triple A Auto Carriers. They had very good reviews and pricing seemed to be fair compared to the others. I called the company (866-926-7515) and received a quote which was later confirmed by EMail. My contact there was "Chris". I had not yet resolved a date for pickup and delivery so stated I would contact them soon with this info. The agents are very busy and you may experience delays in getting to your "agent" again. I would suggest that you have your schedule worked out before contacting the company. My quote provided very quickly by EMail contained an identifiying number, 335620KO in my case. Keep this on record for future contacts. I found that the Customer Service is excellent at this company. A single call to their number, (843) 298-2011 produced immediate results - be sure to ask for "Freddie". He answered all questions and helped me with a last minute request to expedite pickup of the vehicle before the end of a particular week. He found a Carrier and set everything up for me - and was extremely pleasant to work with. The Carrier Co. was Segway Auto Carriers, New Windsor, NY and he was able to get me worked into their schedule. The pickup took place early on a Sunday morning and the driver "Cooper" was also very "user-friendly" and had the car loaded in a short time - very carefully done and he certainly knew his job. We watched the whole thing and could not have been more impressed. In just 4 days the car was safely and unscathed at my son's house in Galveston. He was also very impressed by this driver and the service overall. No problems with the payment at that end. I highly recommend Triple A Auto Carriers - and be sure to ask for Freddie to insure great service.
