Got the job done... but sketchy business.

The contract states: "I understand that at times the service will be contracted to a fully licensed and insured carrier. In that event, Transport Services, Inc will not be responsible for any negligence on the part of the contracted carrier. Any claims must be made with the carrier who actually performed the transport service." I was told by the service rep that if they were to use a "sister company" to transport the vehicle, all guarantees would simply be extended with this company. It's a load of crap, as stated in the contract. If my car was totaled on the way to IL, I'd be screwed. I also asked for paperwork to be emailed to me upon pickup. Transport Services said they'd do it and never did. They said they'd call me 24 hrs before arrival and never did. They showed up 3 days early and I was NOT prepared with a check, nor was I in the area, causing a major inconvenience. I was told someone would review the paperwork with me upon arrival and no one did. It was very unprofessional and I'm disappointed with the service, despite the fact that my car arrived safely.

I was hesitant to use them as a service based on the reports on this website...and now I see why. I never felt 100% confident in them, even though they got the job done and my car arrived safely.
