I purchased an Audi S4 from a dealer up in NJ and needed to ship it down to me in Florida. I looked at several companies including Reliable and Horseless Carriage. After reading the reviews off this site, I chose Springle Transport, mostly based off my initial conversation with them. Ben at Reliable is about the rudest person I have talked to and could only give me a 3 week window for delivery. Bill Springle gave me a specific pick up date and said he would have it to me a few days later. What I appreciated most about Bill was that he was extremely courteous and acted like he appreciated my business which goes a long way with me. He even knocked off $100 as a military discount. After he loaded my car on to his truck, he gave me a call to let me know he was on his way. He even put a cover on it even though he has an enclosed carrier. I kept in touch with him during his trip down here and he delivered the car as promised. My only complaint about my experience would be that he was not very proactive in keeping me up to date on changes. He was supposed to pick up my car on a Wednesday, but had some trouble with his truck and picked it up Saturday. Not a problem except the dealer was expecting him Wednesday and he did not call. He also said he would call me the beginning of the next week to let me know exactly when he would be there. By Tuesday evening he still hadn't called, so I had to call him. Despite these small isssues, my overall experience was excellent. He gives a personal touch that is lacking with the bigger companies. How many transport owners would personally load and unload your car? Highly recommended to anyone who is looking to move a car.
