Let me start by saying that my experience with Specialty Mobile Systems (SMS) was a VERY positive one overall. However, I have two minor problems with the service I received. First, the transport company they used called me to alert me that my car was being delivered on a given evening and then didn't show up until the next afternoon. Couldn't someone have called me to let me know about this change in plans?? I was up half the night waiting for a car that was supposed to arrive at approximately 7pm. Second, I called SMS twice to check on the status of my car once I realized it's arrival was several hours late. I got nothing but a voice mail recording each time. Where is the 24hr customer service that they talk about on their website??!!
These two problems have caused me to "downgrade" my rating of SMS from 5 star to 4 star. If I could give them a 4.5 stars I would do so. Why? Because overall their service was excellent and I was very pleased. No it wasn't absolutely perfect but they provided a great service for a great price and I would recommend them to anyone without hesistation.
One other thing...Why don't they seem to respond to the critical comments they receive at this website?? I think if they took the time to do so it would reflect very positively on their company!
