I needed to ship my car to CA. I ordered the shipping on Dec 2, making Dec 18 the first available date, hoping to have it shipped before New Year ’s Day. I asked my friend in CA to accept the shipment.
Anxiously waited for more than two weeks. It was Dec 19th still no carrier would like to pick it up. Almost freaked out. Increased the price by $100 as Jennifer suggested. Dec 20, received email from Jennifer that a carrier is willing to pick up my car. Received a call from the driver on the same evening, he wanted to pick up the car in an hour!
Rushed to clean everything from the car. The driver told me that it will be delivered on or after Dec 26. I told him multiple times that I don’t mind it be late for several days, but if he would be early, call me one day ahead of time! Turned out he is early. On 8pm Dec 24 the driver called me saying he wanted to deliver the car in a couple of hours. My friend who agreed to accept the shipment for me was not home at that time. Had to make many phone calls to my other friends in CA. After several back and force the driver agreed to deliver on the second day – Chirstmas day.
The car is ok after shipment, just dirty.
