I have been through the car moving process before so many things were not a surprise. Things that remain frustrating about this process are the fact that cars may not be picked up inside of your anticipated schedule and similar postings may lead to problems with your vehicle being picked up. Often the latter negatively affects former.

Regarding my recent experience, someone had posted a car similar to mine that needed to move from a similar place to a similar place. Considering that I remained true to Safe-Direct, it was difficult to differentiate the two entries causing my car to not get picked up on time. Luckily, Jennifer saw the similarities and recommended some changes that helped things out.

The other frustrating thing is that cars are not picked up on time, necessarily, so it can be frustrating if things fall outside your schedule. I think again, Jennifer saw some things that could help out here and made things better overall.

While I believe Safe-Direct and Jennifer did a great job, I think my frustration lies in the system that exists which allows the company to contract with the drivers. In the best of all worlds, each car moving company has a loose network of dedicated drivers rather than a system where all moving companies post to the same board using all independent driver contractors. This could ensure more accuracy in listing posts and estimation of pick-up times.
