This week my wife and I moved from San Francisco to St. Louis, and it was a logistical nightmare. Literally the only thing that went perfectly from beginning to end was our car shipping. I called Honesty First after reading reviews online and spoke with David Franco. He walked me through the car shipping process, told me what to expect from a timeline perspective, and gave me what I thought was a reasonable estimate of $1720 to ship our two cars 2,000 miles. I bugged David a couple times via e-mail to check on the status and each time he e-mailed me back almost immediately. Within a week our order was assigned to a carrier (D.R. Auto Carrier, whom I also recommend wholeheartedly) and everything went smoothly from there. At the end of the day, there's probably not a huge difference between all these brokers other than how they treat their customers; by that metric, Honesty First exceeded my already-high expectations. I hope we never have to make another cross-country move (I shudder at the prospect of it) but if we do then I will definitely use Honesty First again.
