DO NOT USE Ship My Car if the broker is Alex Whitaker, General Manager. They will quote you one price, wait for your credit card to clear, and then tell you the driver wants an additional $100.00. I was warned about this tactic but was told by sales representative Jennifer (1-800-939-4484 ext 123) that their company total cost included taxes and pick up from door to door. She told me there would be no additional charge. They then called to tell me the driver wanted $100.00 more dollars. I protested and the General Manager told me they only gave me the quote to get my business. He then became very rude and wanted me to say I did not want the driver to come. I told him I wanted him to honor his quote. He then said it was a yes or no answer. I repeated that I wanted him to honor the contract price. He told me he had my deposit and I would not get it back. I called the driver to confirm that he in fact went up $100 dollars and he told me no. I tried to call Jennifer and the phone kept transferring me to the General Manager, Alex. Alex told me that I could no longer talk to Jennifer and basically tough luck. I was told by a truck driver friend that this was a common tactic used by the brokers. Be warned DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY....
