We booked Jack Nielsen using Shiply courier web site. He's name is scandinavian removals on their site. Terrible service. He claims to be linked to Auction house in Denmark/Sweden. So we booked him to move our purchases from Copenhagen. All our items are photographed prior to the sale and they where in perfect condition we have the evidence.
Before he collected we had to pay a booking fee and a deposit to Jack of about 10%. As soon as we accepted he demanded 50% of the balance. We was not happy about this but we had little choice as we had already paid money.
He took nearly 3 weeks to collect our items despite saying he was collecting within a week. Upon arrival he wouldnt take out the items without the balance. When he did they had scuff marks where they had rubbed against his van. he assured us that he had blankets to protect. They where on the floor of van dirty/grubby and not on our furniture. He refused to give us the details of his insurance. He has refused to answer our calls and we have nearly 5000pounds of furniture damaged. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. we have searched his name and found this review site and although its USA we cannot find a UK site we want everybody to know what problems we had. we have contacted Shiply and they will not help. We have seen that he has bad feedback but that doent help us. we closed our account with Shiply in disgust and cannot now get into it to leave our own feedback. We have tried to ask them to doit but they ignor us.
My advice............... Check out the feedback properly and if you use Shiply DO NOT PAY ANYMORE MONEY UNTIL YOU GET YOUR GOODS. ASK FOR A COPY OF THEIR INSURANCE SO YOU CAN MAKE A CLAIM. AND AVOID JACK NIELSEN OF SCANDINAVIANREMOVALS OR SCANDINAVIAN REMOVALS AT ALL COST. CHEAP IS NOT ALWAYS THE BEST.
