I booked Road Riders to transport a vehicle from Boston to Nashville. We agreed on a price and when I called them a week prior to the scheduled move date, no one called back after three attempts. I was told that I was "calling too early". I got nervous and cancelled the shipment and shipped the car with another company. I was told that I wasn't being honest with them and that I was going to ship with another company for a lower price. As the "customer" I don't like being treated that way.
Reality was that I paid twice what they had originally quoted.
Now, the issue is the refund of my deposit. They told me they sent me a check twice and they told me that they would deposit the money into my checking account. Neither of those has happened and now they are not returning calls.
Do not use this company.
