Transport of car from PA. to TN.

I put out a e-mail to a company and they sent out to 10 different transport companys. I received several quotes but Red Carpet was at the top of my selection. With all the scare taticals about not reciving my car to being stolen and extra charges tacked on to total cost. They also wanted the deposit up front ranging from $100.00 to $200.00. Then Red Carpet sent this informational email regarding my quote #31589-MS to transport a Operable , 1991 Alfa Romero 164l, on an Open carrier for $539 .Red Carpet then sent me a discount later for $35.00 off which made them very competited with all the other carriers. They also only started to charged when the car was picked up. Once I selected Red Carpet I got online and filled out the quote with the information for pickup location and delivery locations and submitted. I then waited for a contact from Red Carpet which came a day later by phone. The total cost with discount was $504.00. Red Carpet had picked up the car and wanted $164.00 by paypal with a 3% charge or by a bank debit card. They picked up the car 3/18/08. Once the car was picked up and payment confirmed the driver contacted me by phone and let me know what the ETA was for delivery. They would delivery on 3/20/08 around 2:30 to 4:30 PM. Once confirmed I would pay the driver the remaining amount of $340.00. The driver called several times to keep me inform and were he was located. He made the trip and time to the nose 4:30pm at the location I had picked. There door to door pickup and delivery is great. The whole expreince was a great deal easier than I had expected from any car carriers. You see these car carriers loaded down with cars but never think how easy it is to have a car picked up from CA. to MA. I would use Red Carpet any time to transport my car with Sheila E.
