Damaged my car !

My vehicle suffered minor damage in transport while in the care of Pacific Auto Delivery. This was a classic British roadster which was inoperable and needed to be manually loaded and unloaded, which I was very clear about from the start before engaging a transport company. The damages were below the $1000 insurance deductible, so I had to work directly with Pacific Auto Delivery. The owner, Eugene, refused to assume responsibility, saying the vehicle was inoperable, and "sometimes vehicles get damaged because they cannot sustain the transportation process". I was very clear about the condition of the vehicle when soliciting bids from transporters and dispatchers. I used a dispatcher who retained Pacific Auto Delivery. The fee I paid was at least $200 higher than otherwise because the vehicle was inoperable and I communicated very clearly that it needed to be treated with care. Pacific Auto Delivery demanded the higher fee with the promise they would take special care of my vehicle. After delivering my car with new damages, they said the car needs restoration anyway and sometimes damages happen. DO NOT USE Pacific Auto Delivery !! If you retain the services of a dispatching or brokering company make sure to stipulate that they WILL NOT hire Pacific Auto Delivery to transport your car.
