After overlooking the fact that the pick up was repeatedly postponed by Nick, and eventually was set for 3 days late, and requested return calls were answered 6 to 12 hours late, then the real trouble started. My two cars were lined up per Nicks instructions & inspected by him. Next his wife drove our brand new Lexus onto the truck. Nick didn't like the positioning, so the car was removed by his wife who backed it off pretty quickly & smashed it into our Toyota, doing thousands of dollars in damage to both cars. When the police arrived Nick said I had driven over his foot??? He even removed his shoes & socks. I later found the "foot story" on these reviews, but it was too late for me. I must admit that I am partially responsible for this debacle, because I continually sensed that dealing with Nick made me feel very uncomfortable & the vibes were strange, but I stupidly proceeded because I thought/hoped I was dealing with a competent individual. The Certificate of Liability Insurance was a non starter as the insurance rep never returned calls. Of course there was no payment for damages. The following day my spouse & I drove both cars to California ourselves.
