This company is based in Roswell, GA and should NOT be mistaken for the other M&M here who seems to be doing a much better job than the subject of my review.

I was connected to this company via a broker who I found here and who has an excellent record. I will not tarnish the broker's record with my comments, as he has been very attentive at helping me reach a resolution of this matter. It doesn't look promising.

I went with an enclosed carrier so as to provide extra protection to my very clean and pretty '56 Buick. I paid close to $200 extra for this over and above an open truck.

Car was picked up on time and the previous owner reported that the truck driver was very careful and attentive. Car was to be in 2-3 days after pickup, but I was in no massive hurry. I heard there were problems with the truck in Chicago (6 hours a way). It took 2 days to get the car from there to my home. But it did arrive.

Car was scraped up along the passenger rocker panel and doors. Front hubcap bashed in. It was easy to see inside the truck where it had rubbed against some hardware. Driver took pictures and called his boss. I was assured it would be taken care of.

Sent a copy of a great, reasonable local estimate ($1175) to the owner of M&M of Atlanta, the carrier. 1 of 3 places that actually would do the work. I was told that this was acceptable and promised a quick resolution. Bottom line is that the last of 4 promises just expired. Almost 2 months later and this company, with its owner doing the promising, has not taken responsibility for the damage that should never have happened.

Avoid this company like the plague. If a broker suggests that he uses this company, run away and find another broker. Do you really want to use a trucking company that can blatantly damage your car and then hide from you and the repair bill? I'm still persuing this money through a host of different avenues, but even if I FINALLY get the repair money, who needs this kind of hassle? And if I don't, then I'm out $1175 to get my pretty car back into its pre-shipping condition.
