Magic Carpet manipulates their rating through a refund process and outright suggests you give them a 5 star, despite acknowledgment of serious flaws in their service. They asked me after they had my credit card and had finally lined up transport. Since you just want the darn thing moved by that point, so you don't argue on the tele. Now that my car is there ( outside the time window, delivered to a spot that required the recipient to drive nearly 5 hours round trip away from quoted destination (with no price reduction), despite the numerous unreturned phone calls, etc) I share thus: I relied on the rating on this site, which I now see Magic Carpet manipulates & is not the caliber of service. I also paid more based on the rating on this site, which I obviously regret. If you've already booked with Magic - ask for Stephanie. She returns phone calls her boss leaves unattended and sees the problem with routes that may hang up pick up and you can try to help yourself with different delivery spots (although - again - they won't move the price/ take responsibility. In addition, the pick-up window passed before this was brought up as an 'issue' in my case). Magic Carpet: You can do better. Earn the rating. I don't expect any problems with my $30 refund, I've spent enough time on the phone chasing you down. It'll be my credit card company and the BBB I call if you don't promptly issue the refund due to this honest review.
