We needed our car shipped to LA from Coastal South Carolina for our son to use at school. We considered driving out there, but with gas prices, we decided to look in to a car transport company. We had many responses, but chose Magic Carpet, based on other positive reviews. The driver called us several times and actually picked the vehicle up earlier than we expected. We met him at a large shopping center parking lot, because we live in a gated community and this would be the easiest way to load the car. He was prompt and courteous, and assured us the car would reach LA in about a week. Because our son would not be there when the car arrived, they offered to store the car in a terminal at no additional charge, for about 8 days. When our son arrived in LA today, he picked up the car at the terminal. The car was a little dusty, so they washed it for him, and everything was great. We shipped some extra clothes in the trunk, and they were exactly as we packed them. I will use Magic Carpet again, and recommend them without hesitation. My friends could not believe it was so easy and reasonable to get a car all the way to LA. When he graduates in 2 years, we'll call again to have the car shipped back home!
