Every 30 days or so, Magic Car sends an e-mail and offers the chance to have your total cost of your shipment rebated ONLY if you give them 5 star review. I find this deceitful and I have been complicit in helping them by doing so once. But the fact that I already wrote a review, and they continue to send my the e-mail, made me reconsider.

My experience with them was very poor. I had to continuously contact them to get a status update on my shipment. Never once, did someone return my call as promised. They were at least several weeks late in getting the car here. They claimed (and may have been right) that Virginia to Utah was a tough trip in the winter. I actually contacted other carriers who told me they could do it, but for more than I was quoted at Magic Carpet. They were very nice when I actually talked with them, but they continued to fail to deliver on a daily basis. When they finally did get someone to deliver my car, they ended up charging me 25% than they quoted and then sent me a tempting offer to have that fee reversed.

I would find another option.

I now know more about the auto transport industry than I thought I ever would. I am happy with the way things worked out. This review was posted with a 5 STAR rating from Mr. Lynch.... Again, we do take our customer service very seriously here at Magic carpet Auto Transport and pride ourselves in the fact that this is our number 1 priority. I am very pleased to see that in your original review you gave Magic Carpet a 5 STAR review and hope that we can continue to provide such great service to all of our customers in the future.
