good business habits

I received "Starbucks quality" customer service from Magic Carpet and Sue Garrison: the best experience in dealing with a car transport company. Magic Carpet is the 4th company I've dealt with, and so far they are the best. Sue treated me like I was her grandson. She was forward, provided me tips and advice, and followed up with me. Not only that, but I received customer service calls from 2 other people after I booked with her. That was impressive. One thing I like about Magic Carpet is that, unlike EVERY OTHER COMPANY I'VE DEALT WITH OR READ ABOUT, they DO NOT CHARGE UNTIL your credit card until your vehicle is loaded onto the carrier. Every other company is deceptive, stating that they have "no upfront charges" ...what they're really saying is, they will not charge your credit card until they find a carrier, and in 90% of cases, they find a carrier the same or next day as that initial phone call, but your car may not be loaded for a week or two weeks or even a month, depending on your timeline. I prefer the way Magic Carpet does business and charges only when your car is on its way. That's how I would do business.
