Hi, before I begin with my story I would like to note something. According to the Better Business Bureaus there is a complaint against them which in their website they claim there is not, also it should be noted they have an “F” rating Better Business Bureaus. Any company has a right to defend itself and this I fully agree. However, most respectable companies that defend themselves do so in a manner that does not attack or alienate former or potential customers. If you look at the post left by K H on 4/23/2010 9:18:00 PM Fairway made a rebuttal where he calls this client a Jackass. Now I am not a politically correct kind of person but I have known of no reputable company that has ever defended itself from a disgruntled company by calling that customer a “Nuts” and a “Jackass”. This should tell you something about this company who in every defense claims that that these people were in actuality out to get them. As if people surf the internet looking for an Auto Transporter to take advantage of and has sales “force the order on us”. I would also like to note the claim that they ship 5000 cars per year, as I have not seen any records I can not say the following with certainty. However, I can say for a company that handles 5000 cars per year it seems only 2 to 3 people ever pick up their phones. Seems too few for me but who knows. Now for my story....

I used Fairway Auto Transport back in January and it was the biggest mistake ever made. I spoke with a man named Jonathan who told me he was an honest broker unlike others. This was an out right bold face lie! I booked with them for a standard 585 total for shipping the vehicle. They indicated to me that I would have to pay 175 now and then 410 once the driver dropped off the car. This sounded like a great deal, so I agreed. This today still stands as one of the stupidest decisions I have ever made. About 3 days later I received a call from Jonathan which I missed. I called him back not knowing what was wrong. When I called I said “hey Jonathan, you called?” he said “Yeah, I was calling you back.” In which I responded “No, I didn’t. I have a missed call from you. ” Jonathan then said “Must have been your phone.” I said “I don’t think it was, but its ok has a nice day.” When the Truck came to pick up the car the drivers said they do not ship any vehicle for under $500.00. I believed that they were all part of the same company at the time and asked them to call their boss and explain the discrepancy. I spoke to the boss of the driver who assured me as that BEFORE the car is delivered that the difference would be returned to my credit card. So the truckers took the car and I waited to be reimbursed.

Once I received my car of course there had not been a credited amount back to my card. So, I called Jonathan. He claimed that I had called him that faithful day(The day he said I called him and I said he called me) after the initial agreement and had upgraded my service to expedited service so as he claimed he had done me a favor by not charging me more and if I pressed the issue he would. That was a complete lie I never asked him to expedite anything the pick up and drop off date never changed. The company was is a complete fraud and I hope who ever reads this heeds my warning don’t use them for any reason…do not even chance it they are horrible people who yelled and threaten their customers. They lie and cheat people out of money and I will never use them again. The truck drivers even said when they drop off my car that they always have problems with that broker because he knows their rates and always tells people something different. DON’T USE THEM!!!!!

F.Y.I. They changed their Website address and location!!! The old one shows up after Rip-off report when searched online.

We never lie or cheat any customer they just want to pay what they want, and completely disregard the contract even though they have signed and admit that they did not read it. there is no way to handle this problem and of course we are always wrong according to them.
