This company was contracted by a Broker to transport my classic Mercedes from Monterey CA to Dallas TX. The vehicle was picked up on time and delivered on time, but between those dates the Aluminum hood was dented. The driver painted the dent and changed the delivery inspection documents to reflect the damage. NO mention of the damage was made on delivery, so I signed the delivery inspection report.
After contacting the seller, who had a copy of the original inspection report, did I know the vehicle was damaged in transport. I was contacted by an individual from EZ World Transport and they offered to pick up and repair my vehicle in Houston TX. I ran...
Progressive insurance is their carrier and I spent several hours getting estimates from Mercedes certified repair shops, only to have a settlement far below the lowest estimate. They will NOT pay for a rental while my car is in for repairs and they said there is no diminished value on the vehicle.
The truck was leaking hydraulic fluid on the hood of a 1970's Chevelle Convertible and the driver didn't seem too concerned. He said he would wash it before delivery. I mentioned that hydraulic fluid will eat through a paint job and he just looked at me.
I will NEVER use this company to transport another vehicle and if a Broker has contracted with them, I will cancel my order. I suggest anyone else to do the same.
