[Jun 20, 2003] Was called noting pick up time of 8-10am the next day.
[Jun 21] Car was picked up from home near Boston, MA at 10am. Local carrier was Ned's towing. Was told 7-14 days for arrival.
[Jun 26] Called to check status. "Left Burlington, MA yesterday." Scheduled drop off is July 5th. Could not check exact location of transporter.
[Jul 1] Called to check status. Could not check location of transporter. Was told to still expect July 5th.
[Jul 5] Waited a from 8am to 3pm...no calls...no car...no one to pick up the phone at 800.826.1083.
[Jul 7] Called customer service in the morning. Was told I would be called back to investigate why it has not arrived yet.
I called back 2 hours later. Turns out that my car was scheduled on TWO trucks but never made it on either one. It is STILL in MA. Was told it MIGHT be delivered at the end of the week, but no guarantees. I need a car for this week. Rep was apologetic,and told me to get compensation after the car arrives. She couldn't authorize for a car rental for the time being and transferred me to her manager. I left a voicemail.
2 hours later, left another voicemail.
2 hours later again, left 3rd voicemail.
[Jul 8] Called the original salesperson and left a voicemail.
Called the customer service number and left a 4th voicemail to the manager who was on the other line.
Still waiting for a call back...
