after purchasing a car from CA and attempting to have it shipped to IL through a few different companies and waiting for several weeks for a pick up date to be scheduled, i finally took a friend's recommendation and contacted DAS. i found DAS to be very transparent re: transport time, influences on actual costs, etc. it mapped to what other companies told me but they also offered a solution aside from "we have to wait for a driver to accept the order." DAS was the only company to offer me a guaranteed pick up date. and today's that day and the truck was picked up. i opted for the expedited service so will ideally have my car and a final opinion by 5/31!

so far so good...
