I chose Dependable Auto Movers because of good references online. It came in cheaper than other companies and also offered a degree of service that I doubt you'd get from a larger company. I was always able to talk to the same person on the phone.

With DAS you deal directly with the shipper. DAS are a broker and basically pass you on to the driver. This was a little disconcerting for me at first, but it worked out really well as I had the cell phone number of the driver and was able to coordinate directly with him. I had a door to door service for cheaper, quicker and friendlier than I believe that I would have been able to get with another company.
