Immaculate Harley Davidson Ultra Classic stuffed into an enclosed trailer with to many bikes in trailer! Have pictures! It was leaning on the side of the trailer, with junk bike parts stacked on it! The driver said that it was O.K. cause the side of the trailer had carpet on it!!! Rubbed paint off of the fairing! Broke the wind deflector off of the fairing! Which he repaired with gorilla glue,duct tape,and a zip tie!!! Knocked the right rear turn signal off! He glued it back on!!! Broke both saddle bag protective bars by tying tie downs to them! Gouged scratch in gas tank! Scratched right muffler tip! When I helped the driver unload the bike I was sick to say the least! He asked if I bought it off of eBay! Said it was like that when he picked it up at the Harley shop. He forged a bill of lading showing all of the damage! Showed me a signature of "John" from the Harley shop attesting to the fact that the damage was there when he picked it up! There is no "John" at the Harley shop where he picked it up! Fraudulent bill of lading! Dated the same day for pickup and delivery! Rhode island to Louisiana! Impossible! The inspection report from the Harley shop shows nothing on it! I know accidents happen. That's why you carry Insurance. Yes you guessed it! No insurance! The insurance lapsed on July 9. Bike was picked up July 2 and delivered July 12 and the damage may have happened between the 9th and the 12th! Go figure! Any help from Gabe? No! The website that Dedicated Vehicle Transport has that explains and shows insurance and bonding information! More fraud! When asked what should my next step be, Gabe stated that maybe I could sue the carrier! Refuses to speak with my attorney to help contact the carrier! Wouldn't even tell my attorney who the owner of Dedicated Vehicle Transport is! Wouldn't even share the date that the bike was picked up with me! Gabe sounds like he's a reputable person, his website looks reputable, but his actions have spoken so loud in my experience that I would have to say do yourself a favor and use a reputable shipper!
