Wish I had read this site before I chose the carrier

My experience with Countrywide was terrible. My car was picked up almost 10 days after the first available pickup date. I had to leave the car with a neighbor because I needed to leave to close on my new home. The game with Countrywide is that they try to low-ball your car transport with all the carriers. Only after I pestered them for a good week did they increase the price they paid to the carrier to haul my car. Once they increased the price, the car was picked up within a few days.

The carrier was great and had no affiliation with Countrywide. Countrywide's customer service stinks. They'll tell you they'll call you back before the end of the day...you'll never hear from them. You'll call them back...they won't answer. It's the same game day after day. I almost pulled out of the deal, but didn't want to go through this experience with another broker.

My advice - find another REPUTABLE broker.
