I found this rating site AFTER contracting with Cosmos Auto Transport and found out by reading the reviews that they are notorious LOW BALLERS. They quote you a very low price to get you to give them the contract. If they get lucky, you get your vehicle delivered by some independent trucker and they make a little money. If not, you never get your vehicle delivered and they just keep telling you that they are trying their best.

I will say that I was not treated rudely by any of the several people I communicated with. I really don't feel I was blatantly lied to. The company is simply incapable of doing the job.

I was told, "We had this scheduled, but the truck broke down." Then I was told, "Truckers always take two weeks off around the Holidays." Then I was told I they just can't find ayone travelling that route. (I'm not far off Interstate 80 - one of the primary routes for any cross country travel.) Well, anyone can make excuses. Real business people do their jobs. After nearly two months of waiting, I pushed them to tell me what I had to do to get my pickup delivered and the only suggestions they had were to keep waiting or pay them more money. Ummm, No. No thanks... Give me my deposit back and I'll find someone that will do what they say.

In my business, if I tell someone I can do a job for a certain amount of money then I had better do it. If I find I can't get it done for the price I quoted, then I have to take the loss. These guys just tell you to keep waiting until you finally go away and find someone else that can do the job.

My advice is - Agree to pay someone reputable a reasonable price and don't give these people any of your business. They have proven to me that they don't know what they are doing and will not live up to their end of the deal. Now someone from the company will probably write a response to this saying it wasn't their fault. The point remains - they didn't do the job they said they would do, and they asked for more money than they had agreed on in the first place.
