The sales department lies to you and starts off with a quote lower in comparison to other companies to trap you. After that they increase the quote blaming it on one reason or the other. Their deposit is a big chunk of the entire cost which makes truckers not want to pick up the vehicle.
After frustration and 2 weeks of my car not being picked up I cancelled and according to the policy they are suppose to refund my deposit to me since the grace period/ contracted pick up time was way beyond ove . THEY STILL HAVE NOT REFUNDED MY DEPOSIT. I have contacted them via e-mail, phone and did not hear back from them. It has been more then 2 weeks. This compelled me to file a dispute int he bank against them.
After cancellation I booked my car with another company and my car was picked up the following day and was in Texas within 3 days with the same quote that CONSOLIDATED AUTO TRANSPORT had provided.
SAVE YOURSELF TROUBLE. Now my bank is filing a claim against them.
