Late, Not completing agreement, Driver attitude

Auto pick up was schedule for Monday, after numerous phone calls, many going to a answering machine with out any responce and calls from driver on a daily bases saying he was coming, he finely shows up on Thrusday. One and a half miles from my home, when I'm paying the broker Cross Country Auto Transport for DOOR TO DOOR service because the auto isn't regestered and has no insurance, the broker assuring me that I didn't need either because it is a door to door contract and the car transporter has $50,000.00 insurance on the car. The driver states " Bring the car to him or he's leaving with out it". I drive the car to him with no regestration or insurance. He has a really bad attitude, he loads the car and leaves. I call the broker he claims it is a mistake it is a door to door contract and will call the driver to clear this up so it doesn't happen in Az. Sunday night I get a call at about 8:30 from the driver that he will be getting to me between 9:30 and 10:30 PM. About 10:00 he calls and saids he has arrived and is 5 1/2 miles from my home. After several words back and forth about getting closer to me, I'm told HERE OR NO WERE! With the car 5 1/2 miles from my home with no insurance or registration I had to have my car tow to my home. I beleive the broker lied to me about door to door service to make the sale and the driver doesn't care what the broker tells him, he does as he please. Dealing with a broker and a independent trucker puts the consumer in the middle. BE CAUTIOUS THEY ALL LIE!
