I should have known there would be a problem with my delivery. Unlike some others my vehicle was picked up and delivered. However, it was delivered with in excess of $5,000 worth of damages. Jim was adamant that I pay the driver cash or cashier's check upon delivery of the vehicle. When the vehilce was delivered I noticed obvious damage to the roof and the windshiled. The driver assured me that the damage would be taken care of and for me to call the shipping company. He gave me his name and phone number and told me that they had coverage through a major insurer. Turns out that the company he claimed covered the loss ultimately advised me that they in fact did not have coverage. I contacted Jim and he has repeatedly emailed me that Best Direct will take care of the damage. That was monhts ago. This whole ordeal began in October of 2016. As of May 30, 2017 my vehicle is still damaged. I have received promise after promise that they will take care of the damage but nothing. I no longer receive returned emails. This company is located in New York so suing them will probably cost more than I will recover. Jim Powers knows this and that is why he has lead my down the Primrose path. To others that want to ship your vehcile through Best Direct Shipping I can tell you that they are not the Best and that you definitely need to heed the warnings of others so that you do not end up paying thousands of dollars our of your own pocket when you are thousands of miles away from the negligent act. BEWARE!
